Fata Feu'u inspired art

In Term 1 we made these pieces of artwork. We were inspired by Fata Feu'u work. We had to plan two piece in our art books and then we could move on to the good copy. We used paint to colour our patterns. We made a doc about it which is down below.👇

The art was super fun to create but was a little tricky at times because you want to have the cleanest edges possible and have lots of coats for each colour. Overall I think I did pretty well.

    WOW! You have a stunning painting Joyce. I particularly like the way you have chosen very distinctive patterns for each of your designs, and contrasted them against other designs of very different shapes and patterns. Also, you have balanced the colours in your work beautifully. You worked with care every session and it shows in your final product. Way to GO!!
